Choosing a battery for the Infiniti JX35
The JX35 ran from 2012 to 2013. Later cars in that range often have start-stop and need maintenance-free flooded, while earlier ones use a standard battery, so the model year decides what we bring.
As an SUV it carries a larger battery than a small hatchback, and the AC and rear climate work hard in UAE traffic. We bring the full-capacity unit, not a smaller one that happens to fit the tray.
What a Infiniti needs from its battery
Most Infiniti models take JIS batteries. The QX80 and older QX56 share the high-capacity 80D26L class with the Patrol, and the saloons and smaller crossovers usually take 55D23L. Some later models differ, so the label or VIN is checked.
After the battery has been disconnected, some Infiniti models need the one-touch windows and idle speed relearned. It takes a few minutes and should be done before the technician leaves.
