AC Repair questions
Why does my AC only cool while the car is moving?
Usually the condenser is not getting enough airflow at a standstill, from a failed fan or a blocked condenser. Low gas can give the same symptom, so it needs testing.
Can AC repair be done at my home?
Diagnosis, regas, fans, filters and some sensors can be done on site. Compressor or evaporator replacement is a workshop job.
Is it bad to keep driving with a noisy compressor?
Yes. A compressor that breaks up sends metal through the whole system, and the repair then includes the condenser and a full flush.
