AGM battery replacement means fitting a new Absorbent Glass Mat battery to a car that was built with one, then telling the car a new battery is installed. Start-stop cars, including every recent Range Rover, need AGM and will not last on a standard battery. We carry AGM sizes from the main German and Korean makers and fit them on site across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Can I replace an AGM battery with a normal one?
No. A car designed for AGM charges at a profile a flooded battery cannot handle, and stop/start cycles will wear it out in months. Replace AGM with AGM.
How long does an AGM battery last in Dubai?
AGM copes with heat and deep cycling better than a flooded battery, so it usually sits at the upper end of the two to three year range, and longer with covered parking.
What is the difference between AGM and EFB?
EFB is a strengthened flooded battery for basic start-stop cars. AGM holds its electrolyte in glass mat, handles deeper discharge and suits cars with heavy electrical loads. An EFB car can move up to AGM, never the reverse.
