About ACDelco
American trucks and SUVs are everywhere on UAE roads, and ACDelco is what most of them were delivered with. The range covers sealed maintenance-free flooded batteries and AGM batteries for newer models with stop/start and heavier electrics. Big V8 engines need strong cranking current, and the batteries are specified with that in mind. Sizes follow the American BCI group system on many models, so the technician matches the group number as well as the capacity.

Rarely. Range Rovers take European DIN sizes, and ACDelco stock here is mostly in American group sizes, so we normally fit a European AGM on a stop/start Range Rover. If an ACDelco AGM is available in the exact DIN size, it is a perfectly good battery for the job.

ACDelco or Exide?
ACDelco and Exide both have long American roots, but ACDelco is tied to GM vehicles while Exide today is found mostly in European DIN sizes. For a GM truck we fit ACDelco, for a European car Exide is the more likely fit.

ACDelco battery questions
Is ACDelco only for GM vehicles?
No. It is the genuine GM part, but any car that takes the same size, terminal layout and rating can use one.
Does my Tahoe or Yukon need an AGM battery?
It depends on the model year and whether the vehicle has stop/start. The technician checks the label on the old battery and fits the same technology.
What warranty applies to ACDelco batteries?
Up to 24 months. The exact term depends on the battery model and is written on the invoice.
