A flatbed is usually too tall for a basement. The car is winched or pushed to the ramp or street level first, so tell us the ceiling height and whether the car rolls.
Can I ride in the truck with my car?
Usually one passenger can ride in the cab. Confirm when booking, because seat space depends on the truck sent.
Is towing an automatic car on two wheels safe?
It depends on which wheels are driven, and getting it wrong damages the transmission. A flatbed avoids the question, which is why we use one.
