Choosing a battery for the Renault Kardian

The Kardian has been on sale since 2023 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a maintenance-free flooded battery matched to the factory specification.

What a Renault needs from its battery

Most Renaults take a DIN battery in H5 or H6, flooded on the simpler models and EFB where stop/start is fitted. The Koleos, which shares parts with Nissan, can differ, so the label is checked.
