Choosing a battery for the Mahindra e2o
The e2o ran from 2013 to 2016. Later cars in that range often have start-stop and need maintenance-free flooded, while earlier ones use a standard battery, so the model year decides what we bring.
Compact cars use smaller batteries with less reserve, so short trips with the AC running drain them faster. The good news is that replacement is quick and the batteries are easy to stock.
What a Mahindra needs from its battery
Depending on where the car was built, it may take a JIS battery such as NS40 or NS60, or a DIN size like H5. Most use a standard flooded battery. Send a photo of the label on the current battery and the technician will match it.
Terminal layout and post size are the usual catch on less common makes. A battery with the right capacity but reversed terminals will not connect without stretching the leads, which is not something to accept.
Send a photo of the label on your current battery, or the registration card, and we will confirm the exact specification before the technician leaves.

We recommend by car and budget, and tell you plainly when a cheaper battery is the wrong choice for a start-stop engine.

Mahindra e2o battery questions
What battery does the Mahindra e2o use?
For the e2o we normally fit a maintenance-free flooded battery. Capacity and size vary with engine and year, so we check the label on the old battery or the VIN before bringing the replacement.
How long does a e2o battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my e2o battery in a basement car park?
Yes. Our service vehicles fit standard basement height limits. Share the level and bay number and let security know a technician is coming.
Does the e2o need the battery registered after replacement?
This model does not normally need battery registration. The technician carries a diagnostic tool and checks for stored battery faults either way.
Battery trouble right now?
Send your location and car model. A technician is usually with you in 20 to 35 minutes.
No call-out surprises. You get the quote before we move.
