Choosing a battery for the Toyota Veloz
The Veloz has been on sale since 2021 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a maintenance-free flooded battery matched to the factory specification.
As an SUV it carries a larger battery than a small hatchback, and the AC and rear climate work hard in UAE traffic. We bring the full-capacity unit, not a smaller one that happens to fit the tray.
What a Toyota needs from its battery
Most Toyotas take JIS flooded batteries. Small cars such as the Yaris and Corolla usually use NS60, the Camry and RAV4 generally take 55D23L, and the Land Cruiser, Prado and Hilux use 80D26L or larger. Size varies by engine, so the label is checked.
Toyota hybrids have a small 12V auxiliary battery, often in the boot, and when it goes flat the car will not go to Ready even with a healthy hybrid pack. On the Land Cruiser, winches, fridges and extra lights are the usual reason a battery dies early.

What battery does the Toyota Veloz use?

How long does a Veloz battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my Veloz battery in a basement car park?

Does the Veloz need the battery registered after replacement?
