Choosing a battery for the Toyota Supra
The Supra has been on sale since 1986 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a maintenance-free flooded battery matched to the factory specification.
Coupés often sit for days between drives, and that is when a battery quietly discharges. If yours is a weekend car, ask us about a maintenance charger when we fit the new battery.
What a Toyota needs from its battery
Most Toyotas take JIS flooded batteries. Small cars such as the Yaris and Corolla usually use NS60, the Camry and RAV4 generally take 55D23L, and the Land Cruiser, Prado and Hilux use 80D26L or larger. Size varies by engine, so the label is checked.
Toyota hybrids have a small 12V auxiliary battery, often in the boot, and when it goes flat the car will not go to Ready even with a healthy hybrid pack. On the Land Cruiser, winches, fridges and extra lights are the usual reason a battery dies early.
Send a photo of the label on your current battery, or the registration card, and we will confirm the exact specification before the technician leaves.

Toyota Supra battery questions
What battery does the Toyota Supra use?
For the Supra we normally fit a maintenance-free flooded battery. Capacity and size vary with engine and year, so we check the label on the old battery or the VIN before bringing the replacement.
How long does a Supra battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my Supra battery in a basement car park?
Yes. Our service vehicles fit standard basement height limits. Share the level and bay number and let security know a technician is coming.
Does the Supra need the battery registered after replacement?
This model does not normally need battery registration. The technician carries a diagnostic tool and checks for stored battery faults either way.
Battery trouble right now?
Send your location and car model. A technician is usually with you in 20 to 35 minutes.
No call-out surprises. You get the quote before we move.
