Choosing a battery for the Suzuki Every Landy
The Every Landy was built from 2001 to 2005, before start-stop was common, so most examples run a conventional maintenance-free battery. Age matters more than mileage on these cars: cables, terminals and the alternator are worth checking at the same visit.
As an SUV it carries a larger battery than a small hatchback, and the AC and rear climate work hard in UAE traffic. We bring the full-capacity unit, not a smaller one that happens to fit the tray.
What a Suzuki needs from its battery
Most Suzukis take compact JIS flooded batteries, usually NS40 on the smaller cars and NS60 on the Vitara, Ertiga and Jimny. Mild hybrid versions are different and are confirmed from the VIN.
The battery trays are tight and the terminals are the thin JIS type, so upsizing is rarely possible. On a Jimny with a winch or spotlights, that is worth knowing before the accessories go on.
