Choosing a battery for the Peugeot RCZ
The RCZ ran from 2010 to 2015. Later cars in that range often have start-stop and need EFB, while earlier ones use a standard battery, so the model year decides what we bring.
Coupés often sit for days between drives, and that is when a battery quietly discharges. If yours is a weekend car, ask us about a maintenance charger when we fit the new battery.
What a Peugeot needs from its battery
Most recent Peugeots with stop/start take an EFB or AGM battery in H5 or H6. Older models without it use a flooded battery of the same DIN footprint. The technician confirms from the label or the VIN.
When the charge is low, a Peugeot goes into economy mode and switches off the radio and other comfort functions to protect starting. After a new battery is connected, it is best to wait a minute or two before switching on, so the control units can wake up in order.

What battery does the Peugeot RCZ use?

How long does a RCZ battery last in the UAE?

Does the RCZ need the battery registered after replacement?
