Choosing a battery for the Lamborghini Diablo
The Diablo was built from 1990 to 2001, before start-stop was common, so most examples run a conventional maintenance-free battery. Age matters more than mileage on these cars: cables, terminals and the alternator are worth checking at the same visit.
Coupés often sit for days between drives, and that is when a battery quietly discharges. If yours is a weekend car, ask us about a maintenance charger when we fit the new battery.
What a Lamborghini needs from its battery
Most Lamborghinis take an AGM battery in a DIN size, usually H7 or H8. The Urus also has a 48V system for its active anti-roll bars, separate from the 12V battery. The VIN confirms the correct part for each car.
On the mid-engined cars the battery is at the front, under the luggage compartment trim, not beside the engine. Getting to it with a flat battery takes some care, and these cars should be kept on a conditioner between drives.
