Choosing a battery for the Hongqi E-HS3
The E-HS3 has been on sale since 2018 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a AGM battery matched to the factory specification.
As an SUV it carries a larger battery than a small hatchback, and the AC and rear climate work hard in UAE traffic. We bring the full-capacity unit, not a smaller one that happens to fit the tray.
What a Hongqi needs from its battery
Most petrol Hongqi models take an AGM or EFB battery in a DIN size, usually H6 or H7, with H8 on the largest cars. Some versions add a 48V mild hybrid system. The electric models carry a 12V auxiliary battery only.
Because specifications differ a lot between engines and between petrol, mild hybrid and electric versions, a Hongqi battery should be matched from the VIN and not from a general chart. Send a photo of the label if you can reach it.
