Choosing a battery for the BAIC BJEV EU300
The EU300 has been on sale since 2018 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a AGM battery matched to the factory specification.
Saloons like this are daily commuters, and stop-and-go traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road with the AC on full is hard on a battery. A test every spring catches a weak one before it strands you.
What a BAIC BJEV needs from its battery
Most EVs use a compact 12V AGM or flooded auxiliary battery, smaller than the one in a petrol car because it never cranks an engine. Some newer models use a 12V lithium unit that is specific to the car. The technician confirms the type from the VIN before dispatch.
An EV with a flat 12V battery can usually be woken with a booster on the 12V terminals, but it must never be used to jump start another car. The high-voltage pack is left alone during a 12V replacement.
Send a photo of the label on your current battery, or the registration card, and we will confirm the exact specification before the technician leaves.

BAIC BJEV EU300 battery questions
What battery does the BAIC BJEV EU300 use?
For the EU300 we normally fit a AGM battery. Capacity and size vary with engine and year, so we check the label on the old battery or the VIN before bringing the replacement.
How long does a EU300 battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my EU300 battery in a basement car park?
Yes. Our service vehicles fit standard basement height limits. Share the level and bay number and let security know a technician is coming.
Does the EU300 need the battery registered after replacement?
This model does not normally need battery registration. The technician carries a diagnostic tool and checks for stored battery faults either way.
Battery trouble right now?
Send your location and car model. A technician is usually with you in 20 to 35 minutes.
No call-out surprises. You get the quote before we move.
